Job summary

Keywords Studios is seeking expert freelance subtitling translators to translate from English into Filipino/Tagalog for TV and movie content. Remote work, flexible project volume, and NDA are part of the process. CVs must be in English and non-English CVs will not be considered.

NDA is required prior to starting recruitment. Applicants should demonstrate linguistics, industry experience, and proficiency with subtitle tools.

Qualifications

• Native language fluency of target language.
• Extensive knowledge of source language.
• University degree or equivalent professional experience in the translation field.
• Experience in localization QC, audiovisual translation and subtitling.
• Understanding of closed captioning and subtitling, and their common failures and technical challenges.
• Confidence and experience with subtitle editing software and web/cloud technology.
