Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking an Electrical Switchboard Estimator to support RMS Manufacturing in preparing accurate quotations from a remote location in the Philippines. You will review RFQs, drawings and client specs, perform take-offs, and select switchgear and components, ensuring estimates adhere to RMS processes.

Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately.
• Experience with Simpro and CAD/electrical drafting software.
• Willingness to learn electrical switchboard estimating.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, schedules and scope of works.
• Interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings and client specifications.
• Undertake material, labour and component take-offs.
• Assist with general arrangement concepts required for quotation.
• Select appropriate switchgear, controlgear and associated components.
• Prepare estimates and quotations using RMS systems and processes.
• Identify exclusions, assumptions, discrepancies and missing information.
• Escalate technical or commercial issues before making assumptions.
• Assist with quotation revisions, variations and updated pricing.
