Job summary

Remote Raven is seeking a CPA Bookkeeper for a 100% remote, full-time role. You will set up QuickBooks Online files, design the chart of accounts, reconcile, close the month, and deliver financial statement packages the owner reads.

The position emphasizes construction bookkeeping with job costing, AP/AR management, and WIP reporting, supporting US-based clients in a long-term remote capacity. Preference for CPA licensure and QBO ProAdvisor.

Qualifications

• CPA license or pursuing licensure.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency and setup experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Construction bookkeeping and job costing exposure.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own complete bookkeeping cycle for assigned clients from daily entries to month-end close and reporting.
• Reconcile transactions and ensure correct account/class/job costing.
• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all clients.
• Manage AP/AR, vendor invoicing, and client billing support.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and client-specific summaries.
• Support WIP, progress billing, and year-end coordination with CPAs.
