Job summary

Shore360 seeks an Estimating Support Officer to drive accurate takeoffs using CostX and refine standardized templates for project estimating. You will collaborate with the team, ensure templates align with project scope, and maintain clear documentation for auditability.

You will train team members on CostX usage, share best practices, and provide remote support to ensure high-quality measurements and cost control across projects.

Qualifications

• CostX and other measurement software proficiency is required.
• Understanding cost control systems and accurate measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in takeoffs.
• Knowledge of standard methods of measurement and quantity surveying practices.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong English speaking and comprehension.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, with remote work capability.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Estimating Team to develop and refine standardized CostX templates.
• Collaborate to refine templates to meet team needs.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs in CostX per templates and SOPs.
• Apply rates from templates to takeoffs; verify alignment with project scope.
• Document control and generate clarification registers for assumptions.
• Implement quality control to ensure accuracy of measurements.
• Provide training and support on CostX usage; share best practices.
• Act as point of contact for measurement-related queries and remote guidance.
