Job summary

Outsourced Quality Assured Services Pty seeks a Construction Safety & Compliance Coordinator for a homebased role supporting an AU client in Queensland and NSW. You will review project drawings, identify hazards, and prepare SWMS and Safety Management Plans for live construction works.

The role requires practical safety knowledge, ability to read scopes, and an independent work ethic; you will maintain safety documents across multiple projects and ensure compliance throughout the project

Qualifications

• Must have WHS/OHS qualifications or related discipline.
• Experience in preparing SWMS, Safety Management Plans and risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety within construction.
• Ability to read project drawings and specifications and identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, scopes of work, and specifications to understand activities.
• Identify hazards, risks, and safety requirements for project sites.
• Prepare SWMS and Safety Management Plans for each project.
• Ensure documentation reflects actual project scope and activities.
• Manage safety, quality, and compliance docs across multiple projects.
• Maintain project registers, checklists, and compliance records.
• Monitor daily site compliance and follow up on gaps.
• Support QA documentation and project close-out requirements.
• Maintain safety systems and currentness of documentation.
• Identify non-compliance gaps and notify stakeholders.
• Assist project teams with safety and compliance needs.
