Job summary

D2B is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Virtual Assistant to support an Australian construction business. You will assist with estimating, administration, supplier coordination, and project support from a remote setting.

Ideal candidates have experience in Australian construction estimating, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and can work independently with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in Australian construction estimating or administration preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand building materials/trades.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction estimates, quotes, and quantity take-offs.
• Review drawings, plans, and project specifications.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Maintain estimating spreadsheets and project documentation.
• Assist with tenders, variations, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Handle general administrative tasks, emails, scheduling, and data entry.
