Australian Pathways OPC (Offshored) seeks a Commercial & Contracts Specialist with Supply Chain Support to own contract preparation, commercial analysis and pricing support. The role sits between CEO, GM, CFO and Projects, focusing on offshore commercial capabilities and tender support.

The position emphasizes analytical work, supplier benchmarking and market research to enable leadership to make informed decisions, with scope for broader client/supplier engagement over time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial, contracts administration, procurement or supply chain roles.
• Experience drafting and managing contracts, variations and renewals.
• Experience supporting tenders and RFQs.
• Strong understanding of contract fundamentals including terms, risks, obligations and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and prepare contracts, contract variations, proposals, SOWs and service agreements.
• Maintain contract registers, renewal dates and commercial records across systems such as Asana and HubSpot.
• Keep every contract document correctly version controlled, approved by the right stakeholders and filed for easy retrieval.
• Support the CEO, GM, CFO and Projects team with document formatting and collation, coordination of signatures and approvals, and tracking of key commercial obligations and milestones.
• Conduct margin, pricing and cost analysis to support leadership decision making.
• Complete commercial evaluations for new bids, tenders and supplier proposals.
• Build cost comparison models and clear recommendations.
• Identify commercial and supplier risks and flag key issues to management early.
• Develop and maintain commercial reports and dashboards covering spend analysis, savings tracking and supplier performance indicators.
• Present concise written and verbal recommendations to the Australian leadership team.
• Support pricing reviews across key categories and suppliers.
• Set up and support tenders and RFQs.
• Benchmark suppliers and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Research new supplier options, alternative products and services, market rates and commercial benchmarks.
• Monitor contract renewals, re-tender opportunities and cost saving opportunities.
• Provide analytical support for supply chain strategy discussions and what if scenarios such as price increases, lead time changes and supplier changes.
