Job summary

Outsourcey is hiring for a remote-to-office collections specialist in the Philippines. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable, reducing overdue balances, and maintaining professional relationships with customers.

The candidate will work with Xero and MYOB and will transition to an in-office setup in Quezon City as soon as the office environment is ready. The ideal candidate has 2.5+ years experience in collections/AR, strong English communication, and a track record with B2B customers.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years experience in collections/AR/credit control.
• Experience managing B2B customer accounts and overdue debt.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and follow up overdue invoices.
• Conduct collections via phone and email while maintaining customer relationships.
• Monitor ageing and prioritize collection activity.
• Contact customers regarding upcoming and overdue payments and secure payment commitments.
• Follow up on payment dates and plans.
• Investigate discrepancies and reconcile payments.
• Work with finance to resolve billing issues and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and collections.
• Escalate high-risk accounts per internal processes.
• Support month-end AR activities.
• Maintain accurate data in Xero and MYOB.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection processes.
