Job summary

PayJoy, Inc is seeking a Collections Supervisor to streamline and optimize the company’s collections processes. You will manage a team focused on recovering outstanding accounts while ensuring regulatory compliance and liquidity for growth.

You will work with multiple departments—Quality, Training, Product, CX, Engineering, Data, Legal, Marketing, and Finance—to enhance workflows, coach staff, and drive data-backed strategies for improved recovery rates and portfolio health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in collections management, team leadership and customer services.
• Proficiency in collection management software and Google/MS Office; SQL knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of credit reporting procedures and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage early-stage delinquency accounts (1–15 days past due) using digital channels.
• Oversee data handling, portfolio file preparation, and coordination with external agencies.
• Coach and conduct performance conversations to improve QA outcomes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Training, Product, CX, Engineering, Data, Legal, Marketing and Finance to resolve issues.
• Identify bottlenecks, suggest script/process improvements, and document changes.
• Ensure compliance with collection regulations and internal policies during interactions.
• Supervise external agencies handling 16+ days past due accounts and maintain communication.
