Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a senior Project Manager/Coordinator based in the Philippines to support an Australian residential construction client. This remote, independent contractor role focuses on coordinating projects, maintaining schedules, and documenting progress with minimal supervision.

You will work with the business owner and on-site teams to keep projects on time and within budget, liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management or coordination in residential construction.
• Experience with Buildxact or willingness to learn similar software.
• Estimating experience for fixed-price tenders is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Australian residential building processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong English skills for online meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple residential construction projects from planning to completion.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, identify delays, plan upcoming works and organise trades.
• Track costs and protect profitability on fixed-price contracts.
• Maintain project records, update schedules and report progress.
• Use Buildxact to manage project information and estimating data.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve communication.
• Assist with estimating, take-offs and tender preparation with oversight.
• Take ownership of day-to-day decisions with minimal direction.
