Staff X is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage progressive tax and financial statement engagements for Australian clients. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and the ability to handle a diverse client file queue from a home office.

You will prepare tax returns for individuals and entities, lodge BAS/IAS, and maintain strict data integrity across all files using MYOB, Accountants Office, and MPM Practice Manager.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Australian BAS and IAS requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple client files with accuracy.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals and entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals and business entities.
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for small business clients.
• Complete BAS and IAS lodgements per Australian requirements.
• Post and manage journals by importing client data from MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Record working time daily in MPM Practice Manager.
• Communicate questions and blockers via Teams and escalate when needed.
