Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Bookkeeper to support Australian payroll processes from a work-from-home setup. You will handle supplier invoicing, reconcile bank and GL accounts, enter sales in Xero, and maintain accurate timesheets for payroll. Strong English and attention to detail are essential.

Experience with GST and Australian bookkeeping is desirable, and you’ll thrive in a collaborative, flexible remote environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with Xero.
• Very good English, exceptional attention to detail, good problem solving.
• Timeliness of task completion.
• Knowledge/training in Australian business bookkeeping (GST, Payroll, etc).

Responsibilities

• Process supplier bills using Dext and Ezzybills software – check coding of the supplier, invoice date, due date, account codes, and GST.
• Reconcile supplier bills to statements each month and identify errors in data entry or any missing bills/credit notes.
• Enter customer sales into Xero from various point-of-sale software reports or client reports.
• Enter employee timesheets into Xero and process payroll for Australian payroll.
• Set up new employees in the payroll system.
• Reconcile bank account transactions.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
