Job summary

Boomering is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper (Australian Accounting) to join our remote team, handling Australian bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and Xero for our Australian client.

You will work from home, align with Perth business hours, and support onshore accountants with accurate daily reconciliations, month-end reporting, and BAS/IAS preparation, contributing to timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on Australian bookkeeping experience.
• Strong experience using Xero for payroll and compliance.
• Experience in Australian payroll and payroll tax.
• Knowledge of Australian bookkeeping compliance.
• Experience with Karbon, ServiceM8, Deputy, Employment Hero is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Australian Bookkeeping & Compliance and payroll processing.
• Daily bank reconciliations and transaction matching.
• Process weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll in Xero Payroll.
• Month-End Reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare BAS and IAS for review by tax agents.
• Produce monthly P&L, Balance Sheets, and cash flow reports for client managers.
