Job summary

Saphetor SA invites an Application Scientist in Bioinformatics to join our commercial organization. You will support customers from pre-sales discussions through onboarding and post-sales deployment of VarSome, including cloud and on-premises deployments, while identifying opportunities for growth.

The role requires strong bioinformatics expertise, hands-on NGS workflow experience, and excellent communication to engage researchers and IT teams across global customers.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics or related field.
• Hands-on bioinformatics experience including NGS analysis workflows.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales support: deliver demonstrations bridging clinical needs with VarSome.
• Post-sales onboarding for geneticists and bioinformaticians; coordinate on-premises deployments.
• Optimize workflows and automation; liaise between support and stakeholders.
• Scientific advocacy: collect user feedback to influence product roadmap.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing and Operations.
