Job summary

ChordexBio is seeking a skilled Bioinformatician to join as a part-time, remote-first member supporting internal scientific initiatives and client projects. The role blends pipeline building, data analysis, and clear communication of insights to diverse stakeholders.

You will also contribute to teaching, mentorship, and training sessions for learners, both in-person and virtual, reinforcing practical bioinformatics and reproducible research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; master’s/PhD preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for analysis and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with major bioinformatics tools.
• Experience with multi-omics analysis or sequencing data.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain bioinformatic pipelines.
• Analyze genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic datasets.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define specs.
• Create documentation and training materials.
• Mentor learners and contribute to teaching sessions.
