Job summary

Hunt St is seeking a BIM Technician with Archicad expertise to join a growing design delivery team. This remote role is contracted directly with the client, aligning with AU business hours and project deadlines.

You will produce detailed 3D BIM models and coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Facade teams to identify clashes early and ensure accurate documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM Technician / design drafting.
• Strong Archicad expertise with residential projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM coordination and multi-disciplinary integration.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow design briefs accurately.
• Experience working in collaborative design teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Archicad.
• Support design coordination across architectural and engineering disciplines (Structure, MEP, Facade).
• Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues within BIM models.
• Produce accurate and well-structured documentation from BIM models.
• Collaborate closely with internal design teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
• Maintain model quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
• Assist in improving BIM workflows and coordination processes where required.
• Manage documentation control and general project filing.
