Job summary

magentIQ is seeking an Automation Support Engineer for a fully remote, Philippines-based position. You will support and develop automation solutions in a low-code environment, working with customers across time zones to deliver reliable, scalable automation.

You’ll troubleshoot Tier 2/3 issues, build new workflows using Python, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform performance and usability for global MSP clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Math/Physics or related field.
• 2–5 years in automation development or software engineering, preferably in low-code platforms.
• Experience building automation workflows and system integrations using low-code environments.
• Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for automation.
• Understanding of SDLC and best practices in automation development.
• Familiarity with API integrations and MSP ecosystem tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for customer-facing automation solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex automation issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Design, build, and implement automation workflows within the company’s low-code automation platform.
• Scope automation requirements, define success criteria, and deliver solutions.
• Develop efficient, scalable automation processes using Python and automation tools.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Maintain communication with clients during testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Coordinate with support and development teams to align fixes with best practices.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base documentation and improvements.
• Support platform reliability by documenting solutions and recommending enhancements.
