Job summary

Hyre is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Accounting Assistant to join a small accounting team as a versatile generalist with a primary focus on AR. This role supports billing, expense tracking, data entry, and light AP tasks in a 100% remote setup.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded accounting generalist with experience in AR, billing, and expense tracking, and a willingness to learn new processes. A dedicated home office and reliable internet are required.

Qualifications

• Prior AR and billing experience is required.
• Experience with AP and expense tracking is a plus.
• Ability to wear multiple hats across accounting tasks.
• Familiarity with Emburse Professional is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• AR: Lead accounts receivable and ensure accurate tracking.
• Account Billing: Bill storage account clients accurately and timely.
• Expense Tracking: Use Emburse Professional to track corporate expenses.
• AP: Provide light data entry for invoices.
• Data Entry & Support: Perform general data entry and admin tasks for the accounting team.
• Continuous Learning: Train on new processes including invoicing and receivables.
