Job summary

Gordian Staffing Careers is seeking an organized Accounts Receivable professional to join our remote team supporting a Hawaii-based property management company. You will handle AR tasks, support homeowners and associations with account and payment questions, and maintain confidential financial information.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AR or accounting-support experience, strong English communication, and solid Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, accounting support, customer service, or a similar role.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and comfort working with numbers.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups independently.
• Professional and patient when assisting customers with account or payment questions.
• Comfortable learning new software and working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle homeowner, association, banking, and company information professionally and confidentially.
• Assist with AR tasks, including reviewing account information, payments, and related questions.
• Handle a high volume of incoming calls and a moderate volume of emails.
• Provide timely and professional support regarding account and payment inquiries.
• Review account information and perform routine calculations as needed.
• Keep records organized and follow up on outstanding items.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time in a remote environment.
• Learn and follow company procedures, association requirements, and software systems.
• Support other accounting, customer service, and administrative tasks as needed.
