Job summary

Cummins is seeking an Engine Field Service Technician - Level I to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on engines at customer sites in the Philippines. You will follow documented procedures, use specialized tools, and complete service documentation to ensure quality and compliance.

In this role you will engage with customers professionally, escalate complex issues, maintain the service vehicle, and participate in training aligned with skill development and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.
• Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
• Locally valid driving permit.

Responsibilities

• Engages with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance and basic repairs on engines and related components at customer sites.
• Uses specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs.
• Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians or Supervisor.
• Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
• Completes required documentation such as service worksheets and warranty claims.
