Job summary

Ajaia is hiring a remote Product Manager to own products end to end within our product suite. You will talk to users weekly, decide what to build and why, and write specs engineers can build from without follow-up meetings. You will prototype with AI tools and stay accountable to post-launch metrics.

You will work with a US-based team and US clients, with daily overlap on US Eastern hours. This role emphasizes hands-on coding and design contribution, not just leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English for specs and decisions that others can act on without a follow-up meeting.
• AI fluency: use AI daily to sort signal, draft specs, and prototype.
• Experience in product management or equivalent
• Ability to contribute to code and design directly, with AI tools helping speed up both
• Comfort holding priority calls under pushback or changing plans for stated reasons
• Available for 7–8 hours daily overlap with US Eastern time (9am–6pm ET)

Responsibilities

• Talk to users and customers weekly to gather insights and usage signals.
• Rank and decide what to build next based on data.
• Say plainly what is not built when evidence does not support it.
• Write actionable specs for engineers with clear scope and acceptance criteria.
• Prototype core flows, wireframes, or demos to settle discussions faster.
• Contribute to code and design directly, shipping a small feature or fix.
• Partner with design to validate the solution with users.
• Coordinate with delivery and engineering on build and ship dates.
• Present roadmaps and tradeoffs to stakeholders including clients and sales.
• Hold priority decisions under pushback and explain rationale.
• Ship features and monitor post-launch metrics to inform iterations.
