Jobgether’s partner company seeks an Engineering Manager, AI Product Development based in Mexico. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on building and scaling AI‑enabled products and modern software platforms.

You’ll lead a team of senior engineers, shaping architecture, making technical decisions, and delivering high‑impact outcomes in a remote‑first, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering technical outcomes.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities (LLMs, AI agents, RAG) into products.
• Strong web development with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Familiar with CI/CD, monitoring, and production operations.
• Ability to balance leadership with hands-on execution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of senior software engineers.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Influence product direction with user-focused decisions.
• Design, review, and evolve scalable architectures.
• Drive AI-assisted development workflows for productivity and quality.
• Develop modern full-stack apps using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, APIs, and cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership across frontend, backend, data, distributed systems, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Lead code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability, and security.
• Monitor engineering metrics and delivery indicators.
• Lead modernization, debt reduction, automation, platform evolution.
• Remain hands-on when needed for architecture and POC development.
• Promote asynchronous communication across globally distributed teams.
