AlertMedia is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering, to lead the Intelligence Center development team. You will mentor engineers, guide API integrations, and oversee frontend/backend work across Python, Django, React, Next.js, and Node.

Strong leadership and cloud experience are essential for driving high‑quality, scalable software in a remote Mexico‑based role. You will work with cross‑functional teams, drive AI tooling adoption, and participate in agile processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years leading and engineering teams.
• 5+ years building scalable apps with React, Django, and Node.
• Experience with AWS and third‑party integrations.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, deployment, and operation of intelligence-focused products.
• Set technical direction and career growth for the engineering team.
• Collaborate with product, customer support, and operations teams.
• Engage in hands-on coding in Python, Django, Next.js, React, and Node.
• Drive AI tool adoption in product and development lifecycles.
• Operate in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
• Communicate clearly across teams and stakeholders.
