Arboreal Management seeks an experienced Accounting Manager who leads with judgment while harnessing AI to streamline accounting workflows. You’ll supervise automated processes, ensure accuracy of journal entries, and oversee reconciliations across a book of work using Maynard and AppFolio.

You will report to the CFO and collaborate with engineers to refine AI-enabled controls and reporting. You’ll work remotely from the Philippines with regular overlap with U.S.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid accounting experience with general ledgers, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with AppFolio (property-management accounting).
• Strong enthusiasm for AI tools and automation.
• Willingness to learn SQL, APIs, and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting for an assigned book of work primarily through AI agents on Maynard and AppFolio.
• Direct, supervise and quality-control automated outputs and reconcile with GAAP.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, validating AI/system-generated outputs.
• Identify and resolve exceptions flagged by agents; determine when human input is needed.
• Experiment with agent workflows, prompts, rules, and controls with CFO and engineering.
• Provide check on automation and sign off only on verified outputs.
