Job summary

Overseas is seeking a Senior Accountant (AI-Native) to own the full accounting function for a fast-scaling premium brand. You will manage the monthly close, GL, and financial statements, lead deduction recovery, and build AI-driven dashboards that provide real-time visibility across locations and channels.

You will apply US GAAP, handle CPG inventory reconciliation, and run a cloud finance stack with Xero and Airtable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting including monthly close and financial statements.
• CPG inventory reconciliation experience across locations and channels required.
• Proficiency with US GAAP for US-based entities.
• Strong English communication and proactive cross-time-zone collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting and end-to-end monthly close with minimal variance.
• Manage AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, prepaids, fixed assets.
• Reconcile inventory across finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
• Apply US GAAP revenue recognition for CPG/FMCG and prepare statements.
• Own deductions, chargebacks, and recoveries; drive cash flow improvements.
• Build live dashboards and AI-first workflows; maintain cloud stack (Xero/Airtable).
• Ensure audit-ready books and support external auditors and tax preparers.
