Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Associate, Compensation to oversee weekly PAYE payroll and pensions for about 30k workers, ensuring deadlines and data accuracy across international and local teams.

You will document processes, liaise with HR and external providers (ADP Freedom, IBM) and support onboarding of offshore teams while driving continuous improvements and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is essential
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience handling and manipulating large datasets with high accuracy
• Experience with query/complaint handling within agreed timescales
• Experience in a global payroll environment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly PAYE payroll and pensions for about 30k workers
• Ensure processes are documented, updated and compliant with HMRC/DWP/Ofqual standards
• Champion continuous improvement by engaging with stakeholders
• Coordinate with offshore teams (Manila) and offshore helpdesk
• Support onboarding and training for new team members
• Assist with annual SOX compliance evidence reporting
