Job summary

LAdmins is seeking an Accounting Specialist to own day-to-day accounting operations from a remote location. You will ensure accurate coding, posting, and reconciliation of invoices, cash receipts, and GL balances, while supporting payroll and collections in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the Finance Manager to maintain tight controls, timely month-end close, and audit-ready books for US-based clients. A strong eye for detail and solid accounting foundation are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in payroll, A/P, A/R, or general accounting.
• Proficiency with Xero (required).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate reconciliations.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Receive, code, and enter vendor invoices into Xero on a same-day basis, verify against POs, receipts, and contracts.
• Maintain meticulous GL account reconciliations across balance sheet accounts.
• Gather timesheets and hours data bi-weekly to support payroll computations; monitor collections metrics.
• Prepare accrual, prepaid, amortization, and depreciation data for month-end close.
