Job summary

Hunt St is seeking an experienced Accountant based in the Philippines to support a US‑based branch while aligning with Australian business hours. You will manage accounts payable, reconciliations, month‑end close, GL, and tax compliance as part of a direct engagement with the client.

The role is remote and contract-based, requiring strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to coordinate across international teams. CPA is preferred and 3–5 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years accounting experience; Australian or US experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in accounts payable, reconciliations, GL and month-end closing.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar ERP.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice review and posting.
• Coordinate vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements.
• Perform bank and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and assist month-end close.
• Support tax compliance and external consultants.
• Prepare financial reports and budgeting support.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Identify process improvements and maintain proper documentation.
