Job summary

Vital Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Full Cycle Bookkeeper for a fully remote role supporting North American hours. The position focuses on restaurant accounting, daily bookkeeping, POS reconciliation, AP/AR, and monthly statements.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and a degree in Accounting or Finance. Remote setup with reliable internet is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or general accounting experience, preferably in restaurant/hospitality or inventory-heavy accounting.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Clear written and verbal English for North American team collaboration.
• Reliable work-from-home setup with high-speed internet and backup power.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily full-cycle bookkeeping tailored to restaurant accounting (sales reports, vendor bills, cost of goods sold, and payroll).
• Reconcile daily POS reports with bank accounts and merchant processors.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring inventory and vendor invoices are accurately tracked.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist in preparing general ledger entries.
• Generate basic monthly financial statements for management review.
• Assist with ad-hoc administrative and financial tasks as needed by management.
