Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Legal Management.
• At least 3 years of work experience in consumer protection, regulatory compliance, risk management, quality assurance or complaint management.
• Willing to work in Makati, Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Monitors consumer protection compliance and key risk indicators; identify gaps, emerging risks, and areas of potential consumer harm, and recommends appropriate actions.
• Reviews products, services, customer journeys, disclosures, and marketing materials for consumer protection risks and potential adverse consumer impact.
• Maintains policies, procedures, registers, evidence files, and regulatory updates relating to consumer protection.
• Participates in product, process, incident, or third-party reviews involving material consumer impact.
• Conducts awareness sessions and provide advisory support on fair treatment, disclosure, complaint redress, and prevention of consumer harm.
• Identifies and assess emerging consumer protection risks of new products, digital channels, business practices, regulations, and material operational changes.
• Monitors trends and recurring issues affecting consumers and recommends preventive measures to address emerging consumer protection risks.

Job description

The position is responsible for providing support to the department head in implementing, monitoring, and strengthening the organization's consumer protection framework. The role shall review consumer-facing practices, products, services, disclosures, customer journeys, and complaint outcomes; identifies risks of consumer harm; coordinates corrective and preventive actions; and helps ensure fair treatment, transparency, protection of consumer assets and information, and timely complaint redress across covered businesses.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitors consumer protection compliance and key risk indicators; identify gaps, emerging risks, and areas of potential consumer harm, and recommends appropriate actions.
• Reviews products, services, customer journeys, disclosures, and marketing materials for consumer protection risks and potential adverse consumer impact.
• Maintains policies, procedures, registers, evidence files, and regulatory updates relating to consumer protection.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four (4) year course, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Legal Management
• At least three (3) years of work-related experience in consumer protection, regulatory compliance, risk management, quality assurance or complaint management preferably in financial services industry
• Willing to work in Makati
