Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Compliance Advisory Officer to manage compliance activities, provide regulatory guidance, and promote awareness of regulatory issuances and circulars across the bank.

The role supports the Regulatory Compliance Advisory Head and participates in information sessions, collaboration with stakeholders, and efforts to digitalize compliance processes to enhance efficiency and regulatory alignment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Business or Finance / Management / Accounting / Economics / Law.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in Compliance / Risk Management or Audit.
• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations and their potential impact on the Bank's operations/services and the principles/framework of bank compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical-thinking, problem solving and decision making. People management skills, adept with basic computer functions. Proficiency in written and oral communication.

Aufgaben

• Assists the Compliance Advisory Head in providing guidance, opinion and/or advice on clarifications and inquiries from the various units of the bank on: interpretation of circular provision and proper implementation of circular requirements.
• Recommend improvements and ensure that compliance manual and policies are up to date with developing regulations.
• Disseminates new laws, circulars, rules and regulations to GCOs within the bank with synopsis and guidelines.
• Consolidates regulatory comments from business units and submits feedback to regulators.
• Ensures Electronic Compliance Library is updated.
• Issues bulletins on non-compliance findings and coordinates with bank units to discuss and address findings.
