Job summary

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) in Makati seeks a Compliance Advisory Officer to manage compliance activities, review regulatory issuances, and promote awareness of regulatory developments. You will support the Regulatory Compliance Advisory Head, provide guidance and interpretation of regulations, and ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Business / Finance / Management / Accounting / Economics / Law.
At least 2 years relevant experience in Compliance / Risk Management or Audit.
Understanding of laws and regulations and their impact on the bank’s operations.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
Proficiency in written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

Assist the Compliance Advisory Head with guidance, and interpretation of regulations.
Disseminate new laws and regulator updates to business units with guidelines.
Coordinate with GCOs for compliance findings and tracking actions.
Support continuous improvement and digitalization of compliance processes.
