Job summary

Northern Trust Manila is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Regulatory Change Assurance Hub within the Global Regulatory Change Management (GRCM) department. You will perform independent QA reviews of regulatory change management controls, processes, data, and technology, and assist with remediation closure activities.

Qualifications

• Experience performing QA reviews, test work, or internal audits in financial services.
• Understanding of control frameworks, governance, risk management, and regulatory programs.
• Ability to assess design and effectiveness of controls with evidence.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to review complex processes, data, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent quality assurance reviews of key Regulatory Change Management controls, processes, systems, and data to assess whether regulatory changes are being identified, assessed, managed, and reported effectively.
• Perform targeted assessments of regulatory implementation activities to determine whether regulatory outcomes were achieved, and the solutions are likely to be sustainable.
• Provide practical review, challenge, and advice to GRCM senior management to ensure initiatives meet independent testing standards.
• Evaluate the quality, completeness, accuracy, and reliability of regulatory data, management reporting, and documentation.
• Draft observations and recommendations, offering practical, risk-based guidance and remediation plans.
• Prepare high-quality reports and closure assessments for senior management and regulatory audiences.
