Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Regulatory Change Assurance Hub within the Global Regulatory Change Management (GRCM) Department. The role focuses on independent QA reviews of key Regulatory Change Management controls, data, and technology, assessing effectiveness and offering practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing quality assurance reviews, control testing, internal audits, or risk assessments in financial services.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate design and effectiveness of controls and identify gaps.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to review complex processes and data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent QA reviews of Regulatory Change Management controls, processes, data, and technology.
• Evaluate data quality, documentation, and management reporting across GRCM activities.
• Provide practical, risk-based recommendations and constructive challenge to senior management.
