Private Advertiser is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for radiography setup and on-site operations. The role requires knowledge of manual, automatic processor development and digital radiography, with duties that include patient preparation and image reporting to aid diagnosis.

About the role

A Registered Radiologic Technologist or Registered X-ray Technologist role involving radiography clinical set-up and on-site set-up. The position requires knowledge of manual, automatic processor developing and computer radiography (digital x-ray) methods.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange patients for radiologic examinations and produce radiographs (x-rays) reports to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems
• Prevent patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors
• Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors

About you

• Registered Radiologic Technologist or Registered X-ray Technologist with PRC License
• At least 1 year relevant experience preferred but without experience may apply
• Knowledge of manual/conventional, CR & DR modality of Radiography
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office application
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to work on duties and schedules
• Willing to be assigned onsite APE or in house clinic and can work on extended/long hours as needed
• Can work from Mondays to Saturdays
• Willing to sign a 1 year contract
• Can start ASAP
