Qualifications
Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential.
Passer of the Philippine Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination.
Licensed Physician with a minimum of 2 years related experience in a hospital or industrial clinic.
Ability to operate X-ray, CT scans, and MRI machines while ensuring high-quality and safe radiographic procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform radiographic examinations adhering to protocols.
Position patients and educate on procedures and safety protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers.
Review and evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
Record and maintain patient information and documentation.
Monitor and maintain inventory of radiologic supplies.
Perform radiographic examinations while adhering to radiology protocols, operating and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound machines
Position patients and educate them on radiologic procedures and safety protocols to obtain clear, high-quality, and accurate images; provide patients with radiation protection equipment and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to discuss imaging findings, support physicians as needed, and assist with patient care
Review and evaluate images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring they are suitable for interpretation by physicians
Record and maintain detailed and confidential patient information, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures; assist with administrative tasks such as completing paperwork, restocking supplies, and managing imaging files
Monitor and maintain the inventory of radiologic supplies, placing orders as necessary
Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on advancements in imaging technology and techniques
Participate in departmental meetings and projects, contributing to the overall team
