Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning and adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and setting exposure factors.
Perform procedures in General Radiology, Ultrasound, and CT Scan sections.
Ascertain completion of informed consent for invasive procedures.
Conduct assessments for allergy and contraindications for procedures requiring contrast or medication.
Review and evaluate developed X‑rays, records, or computer‑generated information to determine diagnostic suitability.
Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam‑restrictive devices, and applying knowledge of exposure factors.
Prioritize urgent or critical tests and relay critical results to the physician within 15 minutes.
Educational Requirements
