Allied Care Experts Medical Center Inc. Cagayan de Oro is seeking a Pharmacist to supervise the dispensing activities of the Pharmacy Services Department and ensure safe, accurate, and quality pharmaceutical services to patients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a B.S.

Pharmacy, is duly licensed in the Philippines, and has at least one year of relevant practice. You will dispense, compound, label medicines, manage inventory, and participate in continuing education to uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy)
• Must be a duly licensed Pharmacist in the Philippines
• At least one (1) year of relevant pharmacy practice experience
• Completed required on-the-job training/internship
• Has attended relevant continuing education seminars, conventions, or training
• Computer literate
• Physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the position
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and good work ethics

Responsibilities

• Assumes the functions and responsibilities of the Chief Pharmacist in his/her absence.
• Dispenses prescription medicines and pharmaceutical products accurately and safely.
• Compounds medications that are not commercially available.
• Labels medicines and pharmaceutical products issued to various hospital services in accordance with FDA requirements.
• Checks the quality, manufacturing, and expiration dates of drug products.
• Records medicine issuances in stock cards and completes issue reports after every shift.
• Maintains and files prescriptions for two (2) years.
• Identifies and reports therapeutic incompatibilities, potential drug interactions, and duplicate prescriptions to physicians.
• Ensures medication safety by verifying the right patient, drug, dosage, and time of administration.
• Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of medicines and pharmacy supplies.
• Prepares, checks, and signs patient charge slips.
• Participates in scientific seminars, workshops, consultative meetings, and continuing education related to pharmacy practice.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
