Job summary

1Life Inc. in Cavite, Philippines, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately and provide professional pharmaceutical care.

You will review prescriptions, counsel patients on usage and interactions, maintain records and inventory, and collaborate with physicians while upholding PRC regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered pharmacist with PRC license.
• BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Passed the PRC Pharmacy Licensure Examination.
• Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Dispense prescription medications and provide clear instructions to patients.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, contraindications, and drug interactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations set by the FDA and the PRC.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files.
• Monitor drug inventory, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding prescriptions when necessary.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and other staff (if applicable).
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled and regulated drugs.
• Participate in health promotion programs and patient education activities.

About the role

Key responsibilities

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist with a valid license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Passed the Pharmacy Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Preferably with at least a year of experience in the same field.
