Jazy Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the complete engineering lifecycle of development projects in Pasig, Philippines.
You will review designs, supervise on-site installations, and ensure that all MEPFS systems are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with approved plans and codes. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, licensure, and at least 5 years of hands-on MEPFS design and site experience.
To oversee the complete engineering lifecycle of development projects. Responsible for reviewing designs, supervising on-site installations, and ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary systems are executed safely, on schedule, and in strict compliance with approved plans and engineering codes.
Coordinate with Design Consultant for overall MEPFS Design and attend all related meetings
Review and approve detail design deliverables based on approved design
Generate RFA/RFI related to design issues for technical coordination
Coordinate with OEM/Equipment/System suppliers for detail design input
Review approval of detail drawings for construction and provide technical support for procurement of main equipment
Provide technical clarification to sub-contractors/vendors for procurement (VSA, Materials approval)
Work out value engineering and cost down ideas
Review and check subcontractor technical submissions and approve material approvals initiated by construction site team
Review and approve all shop drawings from construction site team based on approved for construction drawings
Consolidate as-built drawings after survey of actual site

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Mechanical Engineer
Minimum of 5 years' experience with knowledge in M&E design and site activities
Basic understanding of design documents, including plan reading, planning, estimation, and interpretation
Knowledgeable in MEPFS construction workflows, quality control, inspection and testing procedures
Knowledge in HVAC System, BMS, and FDA
Capable of handling site coordination independently with minimal supervision
