Job summary

R. R. ENCABO CONSTRUCTORS INCORPORATED is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to interpret blueprints, confer with engineers, and evaluate designs for construction projects.

The role requires hands-on involvement in design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, with travel to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, is licensed, and has at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• At least 1 year of experience in the design and implementation of mechanical systems for construction projects.
• Experience in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection and plumbing systems is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and other building services systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design and analysis software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering standards, fire codes, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and reports.
• Confer with engineers and personnel to implement procedures, resolve malfunctions and provide technical information.
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and data to evaluate feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements.
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with design and performance specs.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions to maintenance crew.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using CAD/ drafting software.
• Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure machines and equipment meet specs.

What you'll be doing

• 1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
• 2. Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and provide technical information.
• 3. Research and analyze costumer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs and applications.
• 4. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specification
• 5. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment. Systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

What we're looking for
