Key Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Perform engineering calculations (load analysis, stress analysis, thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, etc.).
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise installation of mechanical systems.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend design improvements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, procurement, and project management).
  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed within schedule and budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (if required by jurisdiction)
  • Relevant work experience (project-based or industry-specific)
