COOGEE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INC. in the Philippines seeks an Electrical Engineer with strong cross-disciplinary expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to design, manage, and oversee installation and maintenance of integrated facilities.
The role covers power distribution, control systems, HVAC and pumps, with CAD drafting in AutoCAD or Revit, and hands-on commissioning. Immediate start and strong communication skills are essential.
We are seeking a versatile Electrical Engineer with a strong background in mechanical works to design, manage, and oversee the installation and maintenance of integrated electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between electrical power distribution, control systems, and mechanical infrastructure (HVAC, piping, pumps, and etc) to ensure seamless operational efficiency and project execution.
Create and review electrical schematics, power distribution layouts, and control systems while integrating them with mechanical equipment like generators, HVAC units, and industrial pumps.
Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
Diagnose complex technical issues occurring at the intersection of electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., control panels, thermal management).
Ensure all electrical and mechanical installations comply with relevant local engineering codes, health and safety standards, and operational guidelines.
Prepare technical reports, Bill of Materials (BOMs), system specifications, operating manuals, and project timelines.
Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams to meet project scope and budget requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (with demonstrable cross-disciplinary experience).
3–5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with direct exposure to mechanical systems, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design, or facility management.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for electrical and mechanical drafting.
Deep understanding of power distribution, switchboards, and transformers.
Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, HVAC, hydraulics, and rotating machinery.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and clear technical communication skills.
