Job description

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities to ensure sales target is achieved on the assigned areas. Direct a sales/store team of Supervisor/Fashion Consultants and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer through constant lookout for potential areas/outlets. Set up and open new store. Conduct onsite training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales Management
  • Assesses periodic sales data. Should work at achieving the following targets:
  • a. 100% sales target achievement based on projected monthly sales per store.
  • b. 60% sales contribution of regular-priced items and 40% sales contribution in sale or markdown items
  • c. Monitor sales per headcount per stores per month should not be less than P450, 000.
  • d. Sales per store per square meter should be at least 10,000 per month.

REPORTS

  • a. Prepares sales analysis daily or every store visit.
  • b. Prepares sales data daily.
  • c. Monitor store sales growth (annually) and sales target achievement to discuss with ASM assigned.
2. Inventory Management
  • Reviews and evaluates inventory turnover (required turnover ratio is between 20%-25% every month).
  • Recommends stocks movement either stocks transfer or backload to Warehouse Dept. based on the following alarms:
    • 1. Damaged items
    • 2. Aging items
    • 3. Overstock position
  • Ensures that all pull-out transactions are completed on or before the expiration date of pull-out letter.
  • Monthly pilferage results should not exceed 1% of total sales.
  • Ensures that stores maintain 70% fresh stocks versus total inventory.

REPORTS

  • a. Submits stock positioning analysis from warehouse to all outlets.
3. Merchandising
  • Coordinates with the Merchandising team in terms of:
    • 1. Customer feedback about newly out-products.
    • 2. Salability of new items based on actual sales.
    • 3. Competitor’s movement on new fashion trends or new merchandise direction and pricing.

REPORTS

  • a. Checks the monthly merchandise salability and analysis.
4. Store Operations Management
  • Advises Operations Dept. for newly open stores and stores for closure through a memo approved by the Management.
  • On store opening activities, ensure that the following tasks are executed on or before the target date set by the Project Team: deliveries of merchandise and store supplies, recruitment and deployment of personnel and display of merchandise.
  • On store closure, ensure pull-out of merchandise and fixed assets are well documented through a pull-out letter.
  • Supervises pull-out transaction to ensure completion on or before the expiration date of pull-out letter.
  • During office day, all new/amended SOPs on store operations should be discussed to store personnel.
  • The following tasks should be coordinated with Area Sales Supervisor/Manager:
    • Manpower requirements
    • Deployment date of stationary FCs who were newly hired or transferred from other stores and seasonal FCs
    • Approval of excuse letter for authorized absences or SIL
    • Approval on changes in schedule such as shift time, rest day and suspension dates
    • Changes in office day meeting
    • Stocks transfer which will require Coordinator to facilitate transportation of merchandise
  • Conducts investigation on audit findings and filed NSDD (Notice of Stocks Delivery Discrepancy). Provides feedback to all concerned departments within three (3) working days upon the receipt of audit findings notice and NSDD. Final results of investigation should be routed to all concerned department at least seven (7) working days upon receipt of audit findings and NSDD.
  • Sends request to Audit Dept. inventory of lacking barcodes for markdown items.
  • Sends request to Distribution Dept. inventory of lost tag or erroneously tagged items for replacement.

REPORTS

  • a. Submits periodic store performance evaluation in terms of sales.
  • b. Submits roving reports.
  • c. MRM Sales and Delivery stores report should achieve 100% compliance rate every month.
  • d. Reports directly to ASS/ASM.
5. Manpower Management & Development
  • Assesses and evaluates manpower requirements for each area and outlet.
  • Ensures 100% compliance on submission of employment requirements prior to deployment date of store personnel in coordination with ASS/ASM.
  • Oversees compliance of store personnel with regard to policies of the company.
  • Conducts performance appraisal of store personnel and evaluate whether to renew or end the employment contract in coordination with ASS/ASM.
  • Discusses the performance appraisal of store personnel in case the employee will end his/her contract earlier than the duration stated in the contract.
  • In cases of violation, issues Notice to Explain (NTE) and recommends corresponding disciplinary action in coordination with ASS/ASM.
  • Coordinates with ASS/ASM all pull-out memos from the agency/termination of employment contract for proper documentation.
  • Ensures new hire store personnel are well trained before deployment through the Store Visit Form/FC Evaluation Form.
  • Responsible in informing store personnel on training schedules/activities.
  • Conducts reports training for store personnel.
  • Ensures store personnel applies company store standards as discussed in training.
  • Reinforces store personnel learning acquired in training during office days/onsite.
6. Others
  • Performes other task related to Boutique Sales and Operations as required by the Immediate Head.
