About the role
As Regional Operations Manager, you will be the primary operational leader responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and service excellence of regional offices and service centers. You will direct day-to-day branch activities, manage engineering and technical service teams, optimize logistics and spare parts inventory, and ensure that all HVAC installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of regional branches, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, warehousing, logistics, and technical field services.
- Monitor project timelines, HVAC installation schedules, and preventive maintenance agreements (PMAs) to ensure timely and precise execution.
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for branch productivity, service turnaround times, and operational costs.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of field engineers, technicians, and administrative personnel across multiple regional hubs.
- Ensure all technical teams comply with the latest industry standards, local safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines (e.g., HVAC systems, VRF, chillers, and ventilation setups).
- Coordinate technical training and upskilling programs to keep staff updated on emerging cooling and building technologies.
- Manage regional spare parts inventory, equipment stock levels, and warehouse logistics to minimize downtime on repair and installation projects.
- Enforce strict quality control standards for all field installations, troubleshooting services, and equipment maintenance.
- Manage regional operating budgets, resource allocation, and cost‑control measures to maximize branch profitability.
- Prepare comprehensive operational reports analyzing sales conversion, service revenue, asset utilization, and labor efficiency.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, project management, or technical service operations—preferably within the HVAC industry, construction, building solutions, or technical distribution sectors.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of HVAC systems (VRF, chillers, package units, and split-types) and building services.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing multi‑site teams and field operations.
- Excellent financial acumen, budgeting, and P&L management skills.
- Proficient in operations management software, ERP systems, and MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Highly analytical, sharp problem‑solver with a cool head under crisis conditions.
- Exceptional negotiation, cross‑functional communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel across regional branches as required.
- Licensed Engineer (RME or PME) is a strong advantage.
