Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager to lead day-to-day regional finance operations. You will manage the accounting team, oversee multi-country financial activities, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strong financial controls.

You will drive budgeting and forecasting, lead monthly closes, coordinate GST/VAT, and optimize Xero-based processes across billing, reconciliations, and cross-border workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA/CA/ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
• Experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency accounts is required.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and group reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the accounting team responsible for regional finance operations.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including billing, accounts payable, and related activities.
• Own merchant and funding reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Lead monthly and annual financial close across regional entities and coordinate with auditors.
• Oversee regional/entity finance reporting, tax compliance, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and review management reporting and cost-centre analysis.
• Support Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain robust financial controls and drive process improvements in core systems (Xero).
• Collaborate with cross-border teams to optimize finance workflows.
