Job summary
The Laguna Creamery Inc is seeking a maintenance technician to support production by keeping machinery and refrigeration systems running smoothly. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and maintain ammonia cooling systems while ensuring food safety and quality.
You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor equipment, and follow safety protocols, reporting hazards and observing lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
- TESDA or vocational certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Tech, or Refrigeration.
- Experience in equipment and refrigeration maintenance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with ammonia systems preferred.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Keep equipment running efficiently to support production.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- Maintain and repair ammonia and other cooling systems.
- Monitor temperatures to ensure product quality and food safety.
- Inspect equipment regularly and follow maintenance schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and use proper protective gear.
- Report hazards and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
