Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining applicant records, preparing personnel files, processing contracts and government-benefit applications, and monitoring employee status changes while updating manpower levels weekly and coordinating with HR functions.

Principal Functions

• Implements the approved internal and external recruitment strategies such as regular job posting, direct advertisement/s, linkage/s with professional organizations and others.
• Assists in the review of employment applications and staff requisition to match applicants with job requirements using manual or computerized file searches.
• Administers and interprets appropriate pre-employment examinations.
• Conducts preliminary interview for rank-and-file applicants to match their qualifications with department/unit’s’ needs.
• Maintains records of applicants who are not selected for job employment.
• Prepares/manages 201 files for the newly-hired staff and updates them on a regular basis.
• Prepares/processes employment contracts, company identification card, and application for government mandated benefits and facilitates the ATM card enrollment form.
• Monitors the due dates of employees hired as Orientee, Trainee, Reliever, Contractual and Probationary Status and issues Performance Appraisal for Change of Employment Status on a timely manner.
• Prepares Employment Certificates, Recommendation Letters and Certificates of Good Moral Character.
• Updates Manpower Complement on a weekly basis.
