Job summary

GUS Education PH in Metro Manila is hiring a Reconciliation Specialist to ensure accurate bank and GL reconciliations and to maintain the integrity of financial data for informed business decisions.

You will collaborate with AP, AR, Treasury, and Finance, perform month-end close tasks, and drive process improvements in a hybrid work setup (onsite for 4 months, then hybrid) at Bridgetowne, Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, or general ledger (GL) reconciliation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is an advantage.
• Experience in the banking industry or in handling high-volume financial transactions is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data processing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Account & Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile with GL.
• Reconciliation Analysis & Issue Resolution: research and resolve unreconciled items and post journal entries.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with AP, AR, Treasury, Payroll, and Finance teams.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain reconciliation schedules and audit-ready records.
• Process Improvement & Other Duties: identify process improvements and support close activities.
