Job Description
The Reconciliation Specialist ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies found during reconciliation.
- Document reconciliation procedures and findings accurately.
- Prepare and analyze reports on reconciliation results and outstanding issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and resolve variances promptly.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for reconciliation activities.
- Comply with eTap’s safety, security, and information security guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in reconciliation or a similar role is an advantage.
